The instructors at PAIYH dance studios are well trained and experienced in working with students of all ages and abilities. Each of our staff members has a unique background and skill set that allows them to bring fresh perspectives to each of our classrooms.
BETH ANN HAWLEY

Beth Ann Hawley is a 10+ year resident of Lake Travis, a wife, and a mother of 5. She is a former dance teacher and drill team director for Lake Travis High School, Killeen High School, and served as a long term sub at Harker Heights High School. Beth Ann has been a competitive dance director, recreational instructor, subbed, and taught locally for years as a private instructor. She has choreographed numerous award-winning pieces for schools, colleges, and studios, nationwide. She does contract adjudication for auditions and competitions, and works seasonally for 8 National Talent, a dance competition company. Beth Ann holds a Texas Teaching Certification in Dance and a BA in Theatre & Dance from The University of Texas at Austin, where she cheered on the Longhorns as a member of the Texas Pom Squad. She also attended Kilgore College, where she danced as a member of the world famous Kilgore College Rangerettes. Beth Ann is the former Lake Travis Youth Association Cheer president, where she served the community as a volunteer for 5 years. Beth Ann is thrilled to be entering her 3rd year of business ownership and is ready to take PAIYH Dance Studios to the NEXT LEVEL.
Ashley is a graduate of Lake Travis High School. She was a member of the Cavalette Dance Team and served as an officer during her junior and senior years. After high school, Ashley spent two years as a member of the 72nd line of the World-Famous Kilgore College Rangerettes. Following her time at Kilgore, she attended Texas State University and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Education. After graduating from Texas State, Ashley spent the last 4 years as the Assistant Director of the Legacies Dance team at Vandegrift High School. She loved her time there but is ready for something different! This will be her first year on staff at PAIYH Dance Studio and she is thrilled to take on the role of Creative Director. She is excited to meet all the families and looks forward to a fun year!
SARAH BETH MASTEL
Sarah-Beth has been dancing since she was 5. Studying many styles and performing on a successful competition team for 7 years, then joining a pre-professional team until she fell in love with classical ballet. She then switched to ballet full time, spending her summers studying with schools like the Bolshoi Ballet Academy, Joffrey Chicago, & Ballet Austin. She’s learned the art form from the iconic dancers of Joy Womack, Ashley Wheater, Svetlana Ivanova, Stephen Mills, Jennifer Felkner & many more. She is very excited to bring her passion for ballet to PAIYH and spread the wisdom she gained from her teachers to the curious minds of PAIYH’s students.
Kendal was born and raised in Nederland, Texas where she attended Keely Jardell School of Dance for 15 years. She was a Nederland Westernaire from 2015-2018, where she served as First Lieutenant and Captain of the team. She then went on to become a World Famous Kilgore College Rangerette. During her time on Rangerettes, Kendal served as the 79th line Swingster and Right End Lieutenant. She currently is a student at the University of Texas at Austin pursuing a degree in Public Relations at Moody College of Communications. Kendal is excited to work with all the dancers at PAIYH!
Jaelynn Michelle Reyes
Jaelynn Michelle Reyes was born and raised in McAllen, Texas. Her family decided to move to Lakeway in 2010 to be closer to family. Jaelynn is the youngest and only girl out of three kids. She began dancing at the age of 2 years old. Over the last 17 years, Jaelynn has studied Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical/Contemporary, Hip Hop and Cheer. She grew up dancing here at PAIYH Dance Studios since she was 10 years old. In middle school, Jaelynn was a part of Hudson Bend Middle School Pom squad. From then, she continued training heavily at PAIYH. After high school, she became a member of the collegiate dance team at Angelo State University. Jaelynn is excited to be back at PAIYH for the summer and is ready to share her passion of dance with your children!
Jacey Payne is a country girl from Lampasas who moved to Austin, Texas at the age of 10 years old. A daughter of a dance teacher, she's been dancing since she could walk. Her formal training began in the fourth grade and continues through the present day. She has studied ballet, pointe, contemporary/lyrical, pom, hip hop, jazz and musical theater. In Middle School, Jacey was a company leader of the Four Points Majestics Dance Team. In High School, Jacey was a proud member of the Vandegrift Legacies Dance Team. Jacey believes that dancing is more than moving to music. It must come from the heart of the dancer, which is why she has chosen to be a pat of the PAIYH family.
Lindsey Surles has been dancing since the ages of three in her hometown of Tyler, Texas. She has trained in jazz, ballet, tap, hip hop, modern, drill team and ballroom. Lindsey was the Head Dance Captain of her high school drill team her senior year. After high school, Lindsey went on to be a World Famous Kilgore College Rangerette. As a Rangerette, she performed at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, Cotton Bowl, Opening Ceremony of the Texas State Fair, The Birmingham International Tattoo in England, and several performances in Italy. After two successful years at Kilgore, she completed her Associate of Arts degree in Dance. Lindsey is currently a student at the University of Texas at Austin double majoring in Kinesiology and Dance.
